Downloading large files via torrents is much faster than downloading them from FTP servers or transferring them with an instant messenger. BitLord gives you the possibility of exchanging files and finding specific data on the Internet without any effort. The application's simple design relieves you from making any complex settings. Everything, from finding a torrent file to accessing the downloaded data can be done with only a few clicks, on the same user interface.

BitLord allows you to work in a familiar environment. Its user interface is laid out like that of other well known bittorrent clients. Active, paused and seeding torrents are listed on separate pages, which can be selected in a column, on the left side of the interface. Torrents are displayed together with various details, including their downloading progress and options for pausing, resuming or removing them. When a downloading process is complete, an Open option will be made available, which you can select to open the destination folder instantly.

To start a downloading process, you have to load a torrent file, sent by a contact or found online. Alternatively, you can search for torrent files on Bitlord's website, with the application's built-in web browser. Once you click a torrent file's download option, the application will load it automatically and it will display a series of output options, on a separate window. Besides selecting an output folder, you can also set maximum download and upload speeds, choose which files to download and make other fine tweaks.

While downloading data, you can view a wide range of details, for a selected torrent, on separate tabs, in the lower region of the interface. Bitlord can display the downloading progress of each file, the overall status, peers and more. Besides downloading data, you can also import and organize RSS feeds and compile playlists.

Pros

The user interface has a modern design and its options are easy to understand. Bitlord comes with a built-in web browser, which enables you to find torrent files much faster. It allows you to set up your own download and upload limits and make other configurations.

Cons

On rare occasions, you may experience a delay when loading torrent files. With BitLord's straightforward functionality, downloading and sharing large files can be done in a fast, easy and comfortable manner.
